The Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau is a 501(c)(6) registered nonprofit.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
TThe principal focus of the MITB-PAC is to support Members of Congress who work to achieve progressive and sensible immigration laws so that Mackinac Island and other seasonal businesses can get sufficient workers.
To do so effectively, we collect the following information:
- (a) Personally Identifiable Information. The personal information we collect is limited to the information you voluntarily provide. The information may include your name, telephone number, email address, and mailing address. If you do not wish your personally identifiable information to be collected, please do not submit it.
The MITB-PAC routinely collects, compiles, and reports statistics and information reflecting the use of our website and information services in order to enhance membership services and advertising services; improve marketing and promotional efforts; analyze our website usage; improve our website’s content and layout; generate aggregate reports on trends, interests, and behavior; and enhance service offerings.

The information you voluntarily submit is used by the MITB-PAC to notify consumers about updates to our website, used to contact consumers for marketing purposes, and shared with reputable Mackinac Island businesses and organizations to contact consumers for marketing purposes. Individuals are provided with the option to not have their name shared. None of the information we collect will be used for a purpose other than the express purposes set forth in this statement, except as required by law. Individuals will be provided with the ability to “opt out” at any time of any communication regarding new service updates from the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau.

We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties that we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.
We offer free electronic newsletters based upon your voluntary subscription. You will only receive an electronic newsletter if you have requested it (opted-in).
